Water Polo-Winter Sessions

Get in the water and get a great workout while having fun and competing in this high-energy water sport. The Massillon Parks and Recreation Department is offering Water Polo at the Massillon City School Pool. Ages 12-15 will play 1:00-2:30 pm and ages 16 and over will play 2:45-4:15 pm. Water Polo is a challenging water sport played between two teams who try to throw a ball into the opponent’s goal. Sounds easy? Here’s the catch: you cannot touch the sides or bottom of the pool for extended periods of time during the game. This requires participants to be proficient swimmers and demands speed, conditioning, and endurance. Put yourself to the test!
