Special-needs day camp

Camp Echoing Hills is offering a day camp for special-needs persons June 29 through July 3 at Clay’s Park in Lawrence Township.
Camp In-Motion is a unique camping experience that strives to enrich the lives of people with special needs.
Activities for this fun-filled and action-packed week include whitewater rafting, fishing, carnival games, a bounce house, go carts, bowling, hayrides and more. A fireworks show at Clay’s Park will be the grand finale for the week.
As a nonprofit Christian organization, Echoing Hills Village believes in creating opportunities for individuals with special needs to know and experience Jesus Christ while gaining self-esteem, self-awareness and independence by participating in programs that are recreational, therapeutic and educational.
This year’s theme for Camp is Lord of all Creation. The book of Genesis is about many beginnings: the beginning of the universe, the beginning of the human race and the beginning of God’s promises and plan for salvation. Camp Echoing Hills intends to explore God’s wonderful and amazing creation and the beauty of what God has laid out for us all during this special week of camp.
The cost is $25 per day.
