Malone University's Chancel Players and Salem United Methodist Church Present Valentine Dinner Theatre

The Malone University Chancel Players and Salem (Alliance) United Methodist Church will present a Valentine Dinner Theatre Thursday, February 11 at the church, located at 14113 Salem Church Street N.E in Alliance. A catered dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the Chancel Players performance to follow. The public is welcome to attend. Cost for the catered meal plus theatre, $18. The Malone Chancel Players is a group of four students who perform faith-based drama in schools and churches as well as for various community organizations. They are celebrating their twenty-ninth year of touring drama ministry. This year's group consists of: Erin Moore, a sophomore from Stow, OH majoring in communication arts with an emphasis in theatre; Jarryd Lunger, a junior from Columbiana, OH majoring in nursing; Andilynne Holcomb, a junior from Grand Valley, PA majoring in integrated language arts; and Brad Eick, a senior from Carrollton, OH majoring in communication arts/theatre.

Chancel Players is under the artistic direction of Deanna Dallas, who has a passion for the arts. She earned her bachelor of arts in theater from Florida State University, and her experiences have included many theatrical productions, commercials, and independent film work. She also toured for two seasons with The Moving Company, a children's theater troupe. In this sixth season as Chancel Players Artistic Director, she feels blessed and excited to be able to integrate her faith and love of the arts in this Spirit-led ministry.
