Mercy Health Center of Plain is offering low-cost blood screenings (total cholesterol $2, glucose screening $2, lipid profile $8) 8 a.m.-11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10. No appointment is necessary and a 12-hour fast is recommended. For more info, please call 330-494-6480. This screening takes place the 2nd Friday of each month.
