American Cancer Society training for black men

The Northeast Ohio Region of the American Cancer Society will host a Let’s Talk About It training for black men who are prostate cancer survivors from 7 to 9 p.m. July 14.
Let's Talk About It is a free community-based program developed by the American Cancer Society and 100 Black Men of America. The purpose is to increase awareness and knowledge of prostate cancer among black men.
Once the men are trained and become facilitators they will be asked to talk to groups of black men in their community about prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer survivor Dr. Ron Brown will conduct the training.
The training includes a light dinner and refreshments.
Reservations must be made by July 9, by calling the society toll-free at (888) 227-6446, option 2.
The training will take place at the society’s office at 525 N. Broad St. in Canfield.
