A used cell phone drive has been organized to benefit Robbie, a Canal Fulton man with ALS disease. Proceeds will go to assist with costs of a trip to China for treatment.
Used cell phones can be dropped off through May 29 at Cut and Curl Corner, at 2170 Locust St. in Canal Fulton, next to FirstMerit Bank and across the street from Dairy Queen. Salon hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Quail Hollow State Park will host Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt March 27.

Breakfasts will be served at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. in the Manor House dining room. Breakfast includes French toast sticks, sausage links, fruit cup and drink. The cost is $5 for children 10 and younger, $6 for adults and free for children younger than 1. Coffee and a Danish will be available for $3.

Prepaid reservations are required by Saturday, March 20.

The egg hunt will take place after each breakfast for children who are registered.

This exhibit concentrates on the extremely important, but nonpolitical role that First Ladies play in international diplomatic relationships for our country. Martindale Christian Fellowship Church's 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 10:00am. This event is for children ages 2-11 and they will need an adult to accompany them.

The City of Massillon Parks and Recreation Department and the Easter Bunny have hid eggs in the pool at the Massillon Recreation Center. George Waikem Ford is hosting Ford Motor Co.’s Drive One 4 UR School fundraiser to benefit Canton Central Catholic High School on March 27.
George Waikem Ford will donate $20 to the school for every person who visits Canton Central Catholic High School from 4 to 9 p.m. March 27 and test drives an eligible Ford vehicle.
The school can raise up to $6,000.

Participants must be age 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license.
There is a limit of one test drive per household.

The next Swiss Steak Dinner at Zion United Church of Christ at 415 S. Main St. in North Canton will be 4:30 to 7 p.m. March 27.

The North Canton Playhouse Encore Players will present the show "Send Me No Flowers", a comedy, featuring senior actors and actresses, as a dinner show production at 6 p.m. March 27 at the beautiful historic Fieldcrest Lodge (formerly the Hoover Estate). The Amish Door Village opens its 2010 entertainment season with the romantic comedy “My Name is Ruth,” performed Jan. 29 and 30 and March 25, 26 and 27, following a home-cooked Amish meal.
