Backlist Books will host an anime-related event from 2 to 3 p.m. Feb. 28 — an Asian ball-joint doll photo shoot.
Asian ball-joint dolls are very lifelike 18-inch or larger dolls imported from Korea and Japan. Local crafters dress them in handmade clothes, shoes and other accessories, much like the costumes at an anime convention, and convene every few months for a photo shoot.
Top dollmakers from all over Northeast Ohio will be at this event.
Backlist Books is at 39 Lincoln Way E in Massillon.
